The three modules are based on a network of distributed sensors deployed in the field – in the woods, on river banks, on hillsides – to provide constant and automated connectivity. Its wireless sentries constantly monitor the areas at risk, detect within few seconds any dangerous condition and alert immediately the central system that notify the alarm through several channels, such as the mobile phones and the internet. The alerts will reach the rescue and intervention teams in less than 40 seconds, potentially saving lives, valuable property, and wildlife.
The Minteos Central System receives periodic reports from the field devices with their status and other useful information (temperature, humidity, etc.).
Each users can easily access to real time information just using the web or a PDA.
NaturAlert
NaturAlert provides extensive natural
hazard detection, including a set of specialized modules:
FireLess
FireLess is the
solution to protect high risky area. It is is conceived to
detect surface fires. Its sentries can reach any place and
detect the wildfire at the first stage of development
allowing a fast and effective intervention.
Many sentries are deployed on the forest, in case a
wildfires is approaching they’ll send an alarm to NaturAlert
which will forward it within few seconds to the operators
through sms, mobile, mail and internet. Reliability, no fake
alarms, scalability, low costs and low environmental impact
are the main characteristics.
A risk assessment of the territory should be performed
before the sentries installation, in order to classify the
land in different risk level area.
FloodAlert
Low
costs, battery-powered, wireless communication and easy
installation and removal are the main FloodAlert advantages.
The perfect solution to monitor river or lake water levels.
An integrated approach on river basins and the tributaries,
could provide real-time information allowing the software to
calculate with hours in advance the floods risk on the main
river. In case of danger NaturAlert will send an alert to
the Istitutions and intervention teams for countermeasures
or evacuation.
